Daniel Wettstein II is a Colorado native who is a father and husband first. He enjoys the outdoors as a hunter and fisherman on top of being an absolute sports junky. He has a son Daniel III (12) and Amarisa (14). He is also the proud furry Popz of three husky’s Ryah, Athena, and Atlas. He has been happily married to his wife Natrell for almost 5 years of their 13-year
relationship. After years of the regular 9-5 working at various call centers Daniel needed a change after a life changing loss of life in his family. In 2019 he made the decision to attend Colorado Media School and attained a certificate in Radio and TV Broadcasting under the tutelage of some local Denver media stars like Andy Lindahl and Josh Dover. That was just the
beginning for him as he then enrolled in the Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting at Full Sail University and graduated with a B.S. in Sportscasting in September of 2022. He wasn’t finished with his educational journey as he then immediately enrolled at the business school at University of Colorado – Denver to attain his MBA. Professionally he has written for
Roxpile.com and AmericanBettingExperts.com, while spending the last 2 years releasing his own content on his own website and social media. He is excited to join the 5280 team and looks forward to helping this site and company grow into a sports media powerhouse!
