2024-25 College Football | Season Preview

The College Football Season circa 2024 begins tomorrow on August 24th as the most anticipated seasons of college football is here. There are plethora of reasons why this season is arguably one of the most anticipated season in college football in recent memory.

First things First there is the conference realignment in college football this season for example the Big Ten will have teams like USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington in the Big Ten something unprecedented which brings the end of an era of the Pac 12 to an abrupt end.

The overview of the SEC Conference is going to be much different due to the addition of 2 blue blood programs like Oklahoma and Texas. The Big 12 has a revamped conference as well featuring teams like Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah.

In the ACC conference, there are several teams that will be part of a revamped conference when there are teams like California, SMU and Stanford.

The conference realignment in college football for 2024 is definitely a big storyline for the season. Another storyline that stands out is the expansion of the playoff format which goes from 4 teams to 12 teams. So it is a must have for the teams to remain in the top 12 for the majority of the season but even if a team has one loss or 2 or 3 losses on their record if they are still in the top 12 despite not possibly playing in the conference championship game. That team could still be a shoo in for the playoffs.

The team to win it all is Georgia a program that should have been in the playoffs a year ago now with Quarterback Carson Beck who may be the front runner for the Heisman Trophy will be motivated to win the national championship for the 3rd time in 4 seasons.

The College Football Season is back as teams envision themselves playing for playoff spot and a national championship. Everything begins on August 24th let the frenzy of college football begin.
