The Super Bowl 59 matchup is all set as the Philadelphia Eagles will play against the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans on February 9th. In the NFC Championship Game the Philadelphia Eagles put on a blitzkrieg for the ages scoring 55 points against the Cinderella Washington Commanders winning by score of 55-23. After trailing 3-0 in the 1st quarter against Washington, Running Back Saquon Barkley of The Philadelphia Eagles did the usual Barkley burst for a 60-yard touchdown to take the lead:7-0. Then scoring another touchdown run to increase the lead to 14-3. The rout would be off and running yes Washington cut the lead to 14-12 but the Eagles would not be denied and showed it the majority of the game.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts was able to assert himself throwing for 246 yards and a touchdown pass to Wide Receiver AJ Brown including 3 rushing touchdowns. Barkley ran for 118 yards including 3 rushing touchdowns. Overall this Eagles rushing attack was at a fever pitch:229 yards rushing even Running Back Will Shipley made a contribution rushing for 77 yards including a 57 yard run. For the Washington Commanders it was a great season unprecedented with the extraordinary poise and precision of Rookie Sensation Quarterback Jayden Daniels. Moving forward the Commanders has to improve their run defense especially in the interior department.

The Commanders will have high expectations from their fan base in 2025. Washington should have a first place schedule to boot due to the fact that they was able to go deep into the postseason being in the NFC Championship Game including several appearances on national television whether it is Sunday Night Football or Monday Night Football. The exposure of the Washington Commanders next season should be even more magnetic mainstream wise. It was the Eagles time to go to their second Super Bowl appearance in 3 years. See if the Eagles can capture the redemption song for Eagles Nation with a Super Bowl win against the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the AFC Championship Game between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs, this was a game that much-needed for some drama and suspense and this matchup delivered the goods of an instant classic where the Chiefs prevailed again against the Bills winning by score of 32-29. During this decade of the 2020s,the Chiefs have had the Bills number now winning 4 playoff matchups in 2020,2021,2023 and 2024. Quarterback Josh Allen of Buffalo Bills played well against the Chiefs as usual but Allen doesn't play defense because the Bills defense was the culprit for not forcing enough turnovers against the Chiefs offense except one turnover or not making enough stops defensively especially after the quarterback sneak of Allen not resulting in a 1st down while having a 22-21 lead early in the 4th quarter.

Meanwhile the Bills defense allows Quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs to go down the field resulting in a touchdown drive for 5 plays and 59 yards resulting in a Mahomes 10 yard touchdown run from the right end including a 2 point conversion when Mahomes completed a pass to Wide Receiver Justin Watson to make the score 29-22. But The Bills displayed their resiliency and resolve when on 4th down and Goal,Allen completed a touchdown pass to Wide Receiver Curtis Samuel from 4 yards out tied the game at 29 finishing off a 9 play,70 yard drive. But the Chiefs Championship DNA kicked in and dug deep to get a field goal drive resulting in a 35-yard field goal from Kicker Harrison Butker to take the lead and break the tie to 32-29.

The biggest play on that drive was Mahomes completing a 23-yard pass to Wide Receiver Xavier Worthy setting up a 1st down and Goal at the 10 yard line in Buffalo Bills territory. But the Bills still had an opportunity to either win or force overtime. It was 4th down and 5 at the Bills 47-yard line and Allen had to make a play but a corner blitz threw Allen off his spot and he had to heave the pass down the field and Tight End Dalton Kincade had the chance to catch the ball but dropped it kind of like what goes around comes around because a week ago against Baltimore,Buffalo caught a break when Tight End Mark Andrews of Baltimore dropped a pass that could've tied the game at 27 but fell short now Kincade will be in NFL lore for dropping a pass that should've been caught then maybe the Bills could have forced overtime let alone win the game in regulation.

The Bills just can't get past the Chiefs who are one win away from winning their third consecutive Super Bowl championship unprecedented. The Chiefs should be the favorite against the Eagles but the Eagles do have a better roster overall only time will tell on February 9th that the Eagles will dethrone the Chiefs from their lofty perch and making history.
