Women's & Men's Final Four Preview

This is Final Four Time for Women’s and Men’s basketball championship on the line beginning tonight in Cleveland, Ohio where South Carolina, North Carolina State, Iowa and UConn are the participants in the Women’s Final Four. There are a plethora of storylines in this Final Four first and foremost:Can Iowa’s Caitlin Clark who has transcended the sport of Women’s Basketball with her flair, grace and style of play translate into going out on top of the food chain of basketball with a championship something that eluded her a year ago when Iowa lost to LSU by score of 102-85.



NC State is in the Final Four just like the men’s team of North Carolina State is in the Final Four. Can the women’s team of North Carolina State upset the unbeaten South Carolina GameCocks who are the gold standard of women’s basketball. UConn who once was the gold standard of women’s basketball are vying for a national championship for the first time in 8 years.

In the end, Iowa will win the national championship due to the transcendence play making and scoring ability of Caitlin Clark including making her teammates around her better will be the difference maker against South Carolina in the national championship.



The Men’s Final Four begins on Saturday where on the broadcasting side Ian Eagle will be calling play by play replacing Jim Nantz who called many Final Fours for so many years now Eagle will make his debut of calling the Final Four with Grant Hill and Bill Raftery. UConn is on a mission to make it back to back championships since 2007 when the Florida Gators did it. Alabama will try to pull off the upset but don’t see it happening UConn should win big because that’s what UConn does just blow teams out. NC State is the Cinderella of the Tournament which is in the Final Four for the first time since 1983 that will be facing the Purdue Boilermakers led by the big fella Zach Edey who had 40 points,16 rebounds against Tennessee will be a handful in the front court against North Carolina State. Purdue will play Connecticut on Monday Night for the title and UConn will cut down the nets for the second consecutive year in a row to make it their 6th national championship.
